Thursday, 19 November 2009 11:18
Start-up micro-brewery The Nook Brewhouse called on the Engine Room to create their new brand identity as they look to launch their distinctive range of Yorkshire beers. The new brewery which stands on the location of an original 18th century brewery is situated next to the Nook public house in Holmfirth, West Yorkshire.
The new brand is aimed at creating an established, 'big brewery' look and feel. The Brand launch included information leaflets wrapped in half pint glasses to create the effect of the beer. Beer mats were also produced to advertise the brewery. Plans are in place to create a mini visitor centre in the brewery to allow members of the public to see the process.

The Engine Room & Blue Pepper’s joint approach increases brand awareness and provides a higher return on investment for Yorkshire businesses!
In the current economic climate it’s essential that companies look to gain greater returns for every pound spent on design, marketing & promotion. To help achieve this two Yorkshire agencies have joined forces to offer a full service marketing communications package which can be provided without the need for using the larger, more expensive, city centre agencies or a smaller agency who outsourc
e and then add the extortionate ‘management fees’.
With offices in Huddersfield & Bradford, Blue Pepper Marketing and The Engine Room provide a genuinely integrated and full service marketing offering, from market sector research to branding and identity design through to online marketing, competitor research and in-depth strategic marketing.
Darren Evans, Creative Director at The Engine Room said “In the current climate the importance of combining the right design & communications portfolio with expert marketing knowledge is essential. Combining our creative skill set with Blue Pepper’s marketing ‘know how’ allows our current and future clients a fully researched and creative marketing communications package that will increase brand awareness and provide a higher return on investment”.
Andrew Randall, Senior Marketer at Blue Pepper Marketing said of the new link “We’ve had an excellent working relationship with The Engine Room for a number of years and we share a number of industry strengths which include the Medical, Manufacturing, Oil & Engineering sectors. The advantages to our clients are immense and we can’t wait to start working on more projects as an integrated team”.
